Local Legacy

Wood. Steel. And 50,000 watts of history.

Portland was built by timber and steel pioneers. Urban Office coworking, office and event space honors their legacy. Custom-crafted wood and steel shape our beautifully renovated building on Southwest Macadam Avenue near John's Landing.

Built at the behest of Gene Autry (yes, THAT Gene Autry), our 1970s brush-with-greatness building once housed local radio powerhouses KEX and KQFM, and later, Clear Channel Portland. Each private office is named in honor of our radio roots.

Our founder is also a local legacy in his own right; a successful entrepreneur and business leader, with a vision to bring flexible and professional coworking and office space to Portland entrepreneurs, startups, and freelancers. At Urban Office, his vision meets your passion.

On the southern edge of downtown Portland, Oregon, Urban Office coworking, office, and event space is perfectly nested along Macadam Avenue between the South Waterfront, John's Landing, and the Willamette River Greenway (yup, you'll see trees outside your window). With easy access to downtown, I-5, Lake Oswego, and other southwest Portland ‘burbs, you can easily get wherever you’re going by car, bike or transit. Did we mention the free on-site parking?
